Class Assignment
Objective
Design a series of three book dust jackets of the same author or based on a common theme. The design consists of the cover, the spine, the back cover and two flap panels. Create book jackets for the first three Percy Jackson & the Olympians book titles.

FRONT COVER DESIGN
The book cover designs were made for the titles The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, and The Titan's Curse. The cover designs relied heavily on symbolism that are presented throughout the story. This was achieved by focusing on the typography of the book titles. The illustrations were created out of the first letter of each book title.
BACK COVER DESIGN
The back cover includes reviews and the name of the book and author. Similar illustrations on the front of the book is repeated on the back to remind readers of the symbolism and the theme of the book.
